Meet and Greet On the Way to New Isosceles!

Alright EP Woodsters! I've been posting all over the place so I can't rightly remember which of posted where or when, so some things here might be a bit ofwhat I've posted before, so don't mind me and my naughty self!

So, let's get to know the cast of my science fiction erotica new release On theWay to New Isosceles. We're live today from Eternal Press, woohoo!

An Isosceles' Who's Who

Lieutenant Jessica Johnson - Nicknamed JJ by her Combatant comrades, the strongwilled red head has seen much and harbors her share of ill will towards herenemy the Shippers, and her former enemies the Nukes. JJ was a child when thecomet destroyed Earth, and the otherwise all business Lieutenant often has nightmares reliving the destruction if her hometown in Iowa-the crash site ofthe deadly meteor.

Lieutenant Jason Rubelli - Rub is the Nuke Ladies Man almost by default. Hiswit, fighting prowess, charm and good looks make he an easy leader to follow. Most of the Combatants has no trouble answering to Rub. JJ, however, resents his presence and his attraction to her. Rub's not afraid to mix business withpleasure, but his attitude begins to change once he's forced to bunk with JJ.

Captain Scott Westmayer - Scott Westmayer knew JJ on earth, and their history isvery special to JJ. The only person allowed to call her Jess, JJ isn't afraid totell her Captain what's on her mind, and Westmayer always lends an ear. A dearfriend and command, Westmayer is always giving JJ the support she needs-except when it comes to Nukes. Westmayer wants to see an end to the war, and he expectsJJ to follow his lead.

Staff Sergeant Miguel Carlos Santiago Rafael - Once the fresh Latino befriendsRub, he's not afraid to discuss his sexuality with the Nuke. On the journey toNew Isosceles, Miguel develops into something of a double agent. Trusted by both JJ and Rub, Miguel is able to give each of the Lieutenants valuable information regarding their turbulent relationship.

Colonel Jackson Gauthier - The commended leader of The Nukes is determined tokeep the delicate alliance with the Combatants alive, even going so far asagreeing to put the opposing Lieutenants JJ and Rub together. When Shipper threats become a reality, Gauthier's leadership saves the day.

Private Ina Wu - Witty Korean Ina Wu is a swift fighter and swifter woman forattempting to stay above ship politics and romances. She is perhaps JJ's closest friend on board, often providing level headed advice and logical plans ofaction-in ship operations on and off the bridge.

Private Kimmie Dejonaire - Although she is slightly ditzy and known more to herfellow combatants for her bedroom services, Kimmie Dejonaire is an exceptionalhand to hand fighter. She gladly trades techniques with her new Nuke friends and develops a special relationship with Nuke Corporals Tammy Lyn Filago and MillerWorthington.

Corporal Tammy Lyn Filago - Tammy Lyn is lovingly called TLF by her male Nukepals, and not because its her initials. Her romantic history with Rub isn'texactly clear, and it causes some awkward moments between Tammy Lyn and her new found superior, JJ. Despite their similar hot hot status, Tammy Lyn andKimmie become very close, even developing an unusual relationship with Mills Worthington.

Corporal Miller Worthington III - Mills is somewhat of a geek or nerd. His genius is behind most of the Nuke technologies, but the Corporal is also part ofthe popular Nuke set. Rumors about his physical prowess spread through the Combatant Mother Ships, and Miller quickly finds himself at the center of bothKimmie Dejonaire and Tammy Lyn Filago's affections.

Corporal Edward MacDonald - Mac may appear stupid and living every moment according to his Machismo nickname, but the Nuke is shrewd in strategy andplanning. Often the final piece of a Nuke puzzle, Mac also uses his wit forelaborate pranks and relationship theories. A long time friend of Rub, Mac also becomes a source of strength for JJ where the Nuke Lieutenant is concerned.

You can always find me at the obligatory blog or my shared livejournal with EP author Kristin Battestella. Her horror, my erotica. Scares and Spices seemed tobe a great title!

Here's a touch about me, just in case you're wondering who this zany red head is!

Newly married and living the high-rise condo life, Leigh Wood is not tech savvyand fights with writing on her laptop between baking and sewing projects. Sheprefers handwriting with weird pens and odd paper and collects animal prints andrecords via rummage sales. Leigh loves naughty fantasy and science fiction, butsharpens her skills with nonfiction essays and reviews. Her articles can befound at I Think, Therefore I Review(http://ithinkthereforeireview.blogspot.com) or her own blog(http://leighwood.blogspot.com).

Previously, Leigh boldly wrote her memoir Cracked, and is currently working onher next epic erotic novel-a fantasy tentatively titled Horns of Myleness.

There's similar bits at my EP Author Page, too!

Leigh Wood: A Biography

Leigh Wood: A Profile
by Kristin Battestella

I first met Leigh Wood when we were both in the retail humdrum several years ago. At first I didn’t like her. I was there before her, and she was tough to train. Leigh is by no means slow or stupid, she just thinks rules are waste of time. Despite her antisocial beliefs, Leigh was soft-spoken yet out spoken, and we became friends.

I was ecstatic to find another person who actually wrote. Not a name on a message board, but a real person just like me. Well, Leigh’s not Italian-she's not sure what she is, really. Her mom wasn't around, and things are turbulent at best with her father. Leigh doesn’t say much about and I don’t ask. I encouraged her to write it all out-fiction, nonfiction, poetry. I suspect that very juicy memoir of hers will be published someday, hopefully in the near future.

After I left retail for better job, Leigh and I tried to keep in touch over the phone, but that didn’t last. I think she moved to a different town briefly then came back. I think Leigh took some college courses, and either couldn’t afford it or didn’t care to continue. Somehow we began e-mailing each other, and Leigh confessed about her writing ambitions.

Even though Leigh is little anti-computer, she published a few bits and pieces online. She won't pay for her own domain (which is partly why I’m posting this here!) Leigh’s laptop is always crashing, but as far as I know, she's never lost any writing work. That’s what really matters She's probably just exaggerating-just looking for a machine to blame. Leigh gets obsessive and can’t stop. She loves fantasy, animal prints, and weird pens.

My sister says she wants a body just like Leigh’s. I however think Leigh is too skinny, probably from a lack of Italian meals. Her lack of anything but skin and bones does help Leigh fashion wise. She's able to wear tiny tops and barely there jeans that most of us with big boobs and bootys cannot. Style, eccentricities, history-Leigh’s substance is her writing. It's bare, raw, no holds barred literature in genres mainstream has thought better off forgotten. I contest. Certainly Leigh’s writing would agree.
